this is an important one....it's a fat-ugly cable capable of handling 300 amps without catching fire...what you want to see is a clamp...about 3/4 of an inch with another bolt that tightens the clamp...you can get these from NAPA (for example)...THEN, the other end of the cable connects to the FRAME of the car in a spot where you can connect to METAL...wirebrush the hole that you'll be putting the bolt through to connect the other end of the 1/0awg Cable....should come with a "lolipop with a hole in it" connector on the other end...bolt this to the frame/chassis/fender...whatever Solid ground will provide grounding to the ignition, and fuel and accessories such as the windshield wipers~

....assuming the 1/0 cable to the BLOCK (near the alternator) is in place too~

1/0 is an American Wire Gauge designation~ hearty size about 3/4 of an inch with at least three punchy big conductors in it~

the positive to the battery is already in place? assure the motor block ground connection is in place...might be an additional 1/0 cable to the clamp too~
