my 1986 chrysler fifth avenue 318 2 barrel with electronic fuel control spits fuel on cold start

Spits fuel and white smoke on cold start only.  Runs fine when close to running temperature

Holy old school!!! :)....// check your choke adjustment it may need a little more air on cold starts....also after it is full warm check the cold idle RPM ...and make sure that is not to high....this would be the second notch on the choke cam hopefully the tag on the hood or the radiator support is still there should have the fast idle speed there...// the 80s Chrysler's didn't like the cold and they would need to be adjust in the late fall and then back again in late spring hope this helps good luck
