What's going on with my electrical system?

car on occasion acts like it has a dead battery and wont start. The security light comes on and the car dings but doesn't have a bad battery and every time I turn the car off and start it back the radio has switched to AM and the clock has reset. my radio presets are held in memory

Sounds like a loose or dirty battery cable. Check battery cables
I've had that checked. Battery and cables look good and have good connection
Maybe have the other end of the cables checked. The red positive cable connects to your starter solenoid and the black negative cable grounds to the engine block. Make sure those points have good contact and the connections are clean and tight.
