Why will car not go in gear?

2004 GMC envoy won't shift to any gear I check the cable linkage it's good
Check the transmission pressure switch its about 60 bucks for the part bets replacing the transmission all you diid to do is get a jack jack stand 13mm 10mm and 8 mm sockets and a ratchet. Jack the car up put jack stands under it drop the transmission pan(13mm) (make sure you use a drain pan under it gets kinda messy). Then there are 3 10mm and 2 8mm bottles holding the tps on make sure to undo the plug befor pulling the boltes replace part put back together and then check fluid and fill with new fluid untill it readys good on the dip stick

we have the same problem, did you solve it? i had to replace my tranny from 2007 Trail blazer it was working from the trailblazer 07 but i have the same problem before i replaced the tranny, Shifter can move from P to R to N-D,etc. but wont engage to gears, no check engine light, no tranny light, nothing, Engine perfectly running, the original tranny also just lost gears while driving @ 190 Kph. Same Symptoms, no lights, shifter ok.
