i want to buy a new fiesta race race but everyone is telling me that red will easily fade when exposed to sunlight. I live in a hot climate in malta and so temperatures can reach as high as 40deg in the summer season.
Does it require any special care in order to retain its hue?
the paints today are not as colorfast as years back, a polish with sun ray protection can be used every few weeks
red and yellow used to be the 2 worst colours ever known to fade but that was years ago. they're not as bad in this day and age. I had a yellow getz for 4 years and I had no trouble . all I did was wash and wax it with armorol every so often.
