Hi when i start off in first gear I Rev the car to about 1000rpm and engage the clutch , after it engages my revs drop ... If I do this and when it engages I add more accelerate to keep the revs

with a clutch driven car your supposed to put your foot onto the gas the same time you release the clutch equaly pushing and leting up. The idle goes down because its not getting enough gas to move the car in the gear you selected.
