what's the difference betwwen a 200sx and a s15? nothing is different right?

A world of a difference. The S15 is turbocharged and rear wheel driven. The 200sx is naturally aspirated and is front wheel driven. The S15 is engineered for performance, the 200sx isn't.
In some countries a Silvia is called a 200SX... but that could be any variety of Silvia, not necessarily an S15
totally depends on what 200sx your talking about. s13 200sx or s14 or s14/a 200sx. s13 200sx is a CA18DET engine - 1.8L t25 turbo pushing 179bhp stock. s14 200sx is a SR20DET engine - 2.0L t28 turbo, pushing 198bhp stock. s14/a 200sx is same as a s14, but ecu allows to rev about 300-400rpm higher. s15 or 240sx is again SR20DET but instead runs a better ball bearing turbo instead of a thrust bearing, t28r, and a slightly thicker wing mount intercooler to allow better cooling of the extra charge created. aside from that, its simply cosmetic differences then. however, the chassis are roughly the same, and you can create hybrids from them. such as a s14 with a s15 front end (aka s14.5) or 13 with 15 front (s13.5) or s13 with a 14 front (s13.4) all the cars are rear wheel drive. and definately good fun. lethal in the wet however!
The JDM spec S14 Silvia/200sx has 220bhp stock and a GT28R ball bearing turbo, I have one myself ;) she's producing 320bhp at 1.5bar/21psi from the stock GT28R.
if you're talking the S15 200SX, then no. S15 is the chassis code...it was produced from 1999-2002. It was called the Silvia in Japan. In Austrailia nad New Zealand it was called the 200SX. there are also S13 and S14 200SXes as well.
oh, and there's also a B14 200SX (in the US) which is completely different...it was the 2door version of the B14 sentra, although it was available with an SR20DET for the SE-R models. The rest came with the GA16DE. It was FWD as well, whereas the S15 is RWD.
240SX doesnt run the SR20DET it runs a KA24DE stock but most people swap them in the picture the SR is on the left and the KA is on the right
most comments are right but the main difference between a S14 and S15 is the chassis itself ! The S15 is 40% stiffer than a S14 also has a slightly shorter wheelbase and a major weight distribution difference as the fuel tank is under the rear seat, instead of on the underside of the boot (trunk) ! the S15 also has smaller wheel clearance at the rear (14= wider wheels) on the mechanical side the 6spd in the s15 is really good on the street up to about240-250kw at the wheels ! any more and they go bang !
and the 6spd doesn't have a speedo drive output in the gearbox ! Its in the diff housing !
liam the s13 also came out with th SR20DET (red top) from late 1990 with a BUSH bearing garret T25g, different gearbox and bigger brakes (disc and caliper) also s15's are not called 240SX's anywhere ! and on another point, none of the S chassis are "lethal in the wet" ! they are one of the most delicate and beautiful things in the wet ! If you think you can drive a fairly light, TURBO, rear wheel drive in the wet like you can in the dry, you shouldn't have a licence !
