aye Australian for car, mate~?....9/10 of ALL troubles stem from one point only...that is the Ground connection from the battery to the chassis ground...over time through pulling 300 cold cranking amps or more through a single spot again and again...the dis-similar materials form a layer of "semi-conductor" corrosion...what you must do is take a Coarse wirebrush to this spot...the lug and bolt them back together for a resistance free connection that can support 300 or more cold cranking amps~.....see it matters not...these buggies are all designed with an Achilles heel...some like BMW will actually run TWO system grounds off the 1/0awg cable just to prevent this "brown out" condition from affecting critical components~
