Vauxhall Vectra won't start has anyone any ideas?

My Vauxhall Vecra developed a battery warning light, the Air Conditioning would not work and after a few miles the dashboard lit up with all lights and the engine cut out and now won't restart. Has any one any ideas as to the cause? and a possible remedy
