Sounds like a recall or service bulletin ... do a Google search

Transmission cooling lines are easy to replace. Probably lost "Gears" because you were low on ATF. The torque converter has to have the proper amount of ATF in it or it just won't run your vehicle

I goggled it and there was only one recall on the 2013 with the same problem but mine is 2010 ,what do I do now

Try this site ... many times manufacturers will do a service bulletin and not a recall Call the dealer and threaten to file a complaint with your state agency GM's new CEO has made a commitment to correct these types of issues (Google that too) http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/owners/SearchSafetyIssues Good luck and God Bless

The main reason to document your problem is not so much the repair but the record of your transmission issue. If you have a premature trans problem ... then it's on record. I bet GM will play "Lets make a deal" and offer a reduced repair cost or partial reimbursement ... the great thing about that is they have accepted liability

These are the transmission cooling lines for the Sierra 1500 5.3l V8. You can see the lines are very close to start with. If a service tech just pushes on one, like if you've had a transmission filter change, then they'll run. Real easy to install.
