are you referring to a roaring noise/vibration? Wheel bearings are very common on the vehicles.

Yes that is the sound. Would the right turn lead you to believe that just one side needs to be replaced?

Yes. Most likely just one is making the majority of the noise. The best way is to get it in the air and spin the wheels while listening to the bearings. Using a stethoscope and comparing side to side makes it easy to determine. Good luck
