I have a 1972 galaxie. I am having issues finding
some things for the interior. I know the 69-72
models were the same platform, but are the
dashboards and seats interchangeable?

The seats most likely were, in fact you could look at other models and even makes from a wide range of years for compatible seats. The dash is likely the same in that same generation as well. I had a 75 Elite, the dash from that would have worked in any other year Elite, or Torino or even later LTDII's. Ford at that time did not stray from the formula much so you should be able to find compatible parts from other years and models.
