1969 Galaxie 500 brake lights

brake lights don't work, tail lights and blinkers are fine. Seems to have
happened after car was re-painted ?

check the brake light switch (underneath the dash, near the top of the brake pedal arm). Is a "block" looking part with a "sliding button" . Also is very common in my experience for repainted cars to find a loose ground wire. Need to have metal to metal contact (scrape the fresh paint under a ground bolt or screw.
