My fiat uno fails to start when I turn the key switch, ignition lights are bright

Since the ignition lights are bright, it could be a failure of the starter motor. Check for voltage on the small wire on the starter when the key is turned to "Start".

clean the black battery cable where it attaches to the frame ground...lights will be nice and bright then~
