what cose the car temperature not to drop, and what stop the engine from runnning

drove my Opel vectra 1.6 v8, maybe 20 minutes and the engine went dead, realize
there was no water, car temperature was beyond 100%. i got i can of water and start
to fill it up and it cooled down, start the engine and started running and the
Temperature starting going up again and the engine stooped running...the car will
start, but the engine will go off on its own unless i keep pushing the fuel pedal...i
have not yet tried to drive.

your problem is really hectic. Did u check the cooling function? Do you want to buy Toyota Irvine?
