Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am in St kitts attending school and have
purchased a Nissan sunny. First, no one
can find out why my A/C won't work after
changing the hoses for suspected leaks.
Can u give me any suggestion to take to
the repair man ( there are no real repair
people here). Next they replaced my ball
joints and rods due to noise upon turning..
after $700 it is still making the noise..
clicking and grinding noise. Please help so
I can get this fixed as I'm a student on a
very limited budget.  Thank you

A student budget and a used car don't mix well. You should probably try to find a better mechanic.

I thought maybe you had some idea what could be causeing this noise to help me help him as there are NOactual mechanics on the island. I took it back today and he said the CV joint looked rough so he had to look around for one. This is the guy all the students go to and he has been following my car for awhile it's just extremely hard to do anything on these islands like get good trained mechanics, buy parts etc. a lot of parts come from junkyards here. Quote different than in the US. So do u have any other suggestions that actually might help me fix this car?
