5 year old falcon not started in 18 months

Asked by ThisIsAquestion Apr 20, 2015 at 04:47 AM about the Ford Falcon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello. I am about to inherit a car. All I know is that it is a Ford Falcon sedan that is about
4 years old, it has 25,000 kms on the clock and hasn't been started in about 18 months.

I'm guessing I'll need a new battery. Is there anything else I should check or change? Any
help would be appreciated.

The fuel has probably gone bad, too, and especially if it contains methanol- change the gas BEFORE you start it- while changing the fuel, have the other fluids changed- check the tires for cracks- check the filters- do a complete safety check-
