Low coolant, cooling fans not coming on, bad water pump
Fans coming on coolant fine it only happens once in blue moon plugged in computer to see what is reading no codes nothing Really got me confused
Is it really overheating or is the temp sensor going bad? If it's actually getting hot I would change the thermostat
it only overheated for 30 seconds once i hit the select button on dash to cancel the temperature went back to normal we scanned computers no clitch or code on it
I disconnect the battery to reset computers and going to see how she goes but temperature normal ever since the problem thanks
Mike I habe just completed 700ks this week and the only time the temperature gauge went up was up a long hill and i could see the needle go up quickly to 3/4 of the gauge but not to overheat it felt like the car was struggling up the hill for 2 ks then once i got to the top of the hill and eased back on the accelerator it was back to normal could it be a small blockage in the cadolatic converters? but other than that she goes like normal Thanks for your input Mike From Oz
