Do crager ,15x7, wheels fit a ford ranchero. They have oval holes where the wheels studs go. And if they do what size tire can I install that won't rub?

They have oval holes because they are " unilug" or "muti-fit" which means that they will fit a bunch of different bolt hole combinations including your 4.5" x 5 standard Ford bolt pattern. However, You didn't mention ( as you probably didn't know) if they are the standard Cragar rims or "Reverse" Cragar rims which means they reversed the outer rim before inserting the center making the wheel "deep dish" but still a 15 x 7 rim. If that's the case with your's, then you might not be able to use them on your car without any modifications because the "reverse" effect would change the back spacing and bring your wheels and tires too far out on the axle, thus not being able to clear the fenders. The only way of knowing is by looking at the wheels and seeing if the back spacing is wider than the front from center plate to outside of rim. If it's reversed, they outer spacing will be larger than the back spacing (which you don't want) I've enclosed a pic of a standard ( not deep dish ) Cragar S/S 15x7 wheel. Good Luck, Kenny/MrBlueOval depending on how saggy your front coil springs are(coils will sag over time, even a quarter inch will make a difference) a regular 15 x 7 rim on your car should take a 225/70-15 without rubbing on the front fenders and a 255/70-15 on the back with air shocks or some form of lift, otherwise the 225/70-15 all the way around. Anything bigger and you are asking for problems.
