I have a 2001 all of a sudden radio, opening of trunk and gas door has stop working,when i put in reverse i can pop open trunk and gas door

Still sounds like a fuse, for that area,maybe,,, the reverse sends 12 volt to reverse lights in that area, unless Cadillac has a module sorting this stuff somewhere , the included radio says 7 amp fuse???

I have a 2001 Catera and had the same problem. Needed to solder some connections on the relay board(in a box above the brake pedal). Solder connection looked like it was missed or expected to be held in place by the shellac. Snipe048@yahoo.com
