Engine conversion

You want to change the 427 to 4WD and then install it in a F150? This not how to it works. You can do anything with enough money except make that smog legal. The only thing I can think of would be to put the 2002 body onto the 67 frame and register it as a 67.
I'm not worried about smog issues. I have none here where I'm at. I'm curious what transmissions that are 4 wheel drive will bolt up to the 428/390 (as its listed because of the 390 heads and intake manifold) and if there MAY even be a modern conversion that'll work with the1967 Engine to make it push button 4 wheel.
A C6 would bolt on. You can adapt a Chevy 4L60E. Link to follow.

Chevy transmission to a ford motor, that'll get some ford enthusiast riled up lol. Interesting that a Chevy transmission would be compatible to a ford block. I have heard of interchangeable parts with a bit of modification before. Would i lose some of the torque and horsepower? Or would i actually gain?
4 gears instead of 3 should make for a much better driving truck and you will get better gas mileage on the highway.
Awesome, thank you. I'll research what i need to do. I appreciate the feedback.
