The dome light of my Ford Territory won't turn off but all the doors and the boot have been slammed shut. Help please?

One or more of the door latches are bad. The switch to turn off the dome lights are built into the latches. You can try spraying wd-40 or pb blaster into the latch openings and shut the doors quite a few times and see if the light goes off. It's a temporary fix. At least the light will be off and you will know which one is bad. Start with the drivers door.
Thank you I don't know anything about cars and my car is playing up. Can you tell me the exact name of spray please and where to purchase it please?
I'm guessing your not from the States, lol. WD-40 and PB Blaster are both very common spray lubricants here. They come with a small red straw so you can get the fluid into small openings and not get it all over the place. You should be able to go into any car parts or hardware store and ask them for something like that.
I'm from NZ. I just got home from the mechanics who were just closing up they sprayed CRC on it but still the same.
Did they spray all the latches? How many times did they or you open and close each door?
The mechanic was abit greedy with his spray and didn't spray much but he just spayed a lil bit and I've openes and closed them like 3 times I think?
I would go buy your own can. It may take quite a bit of spray and A LOT more times opening/closing the doors.
Do you know what it's called on nz so I can go to the warehouse or something to buy it please? Thanks you for responding back it's such a big help
I'm not sure what they would call it in NZ. Just any good spray penetrating lubricant in a can will do. Just ask someone in the store to show you what they have.
is their a switch in the middle of the light that goes between doors light on and light off
Thank you my car is now fixed. Thanks for all your help :)
