License Plate Bulb?

I just replaced both of mine...first,pull the carpet off the trunk lid(not all, just near the back where the lights are located)..dont be worried if you break the little plastic pushes, you can buy them super cheap at any auto parts store...next look through the holes, you will see 2 wireing harnesses attached to the light fixtures, try to reach your hand through 1 of the holes, reach your hand through grabbing the correct fixture, turn the fixture a quarter turn,,wiggle it a little...it should pull right out...pulling the factory bulb is a little bit of a bitch,I used a needle to loosen the rubber surrounding the bulb...once you have pulled the bulb, simply replace it with a new one...(I cant remember the bulb product #,ask at checker or wherever)reverse process and badda bing, youre done son....
found the above statement totally false . on the 2001 Seville I had to remove the whole trunk lid light assembly to access the license plate bulbs . once removed its a piece of cake .
