1995 cadillac sls 55000 mi , exhaust smells like gas

What is the cause and how serious, of exhaust smell like gas , after not driven
for 2 weeks. One person suggested the cure would be to drive on the freeway
20 minutes . Also repeating issue with ticking . Cadillac SLS 1995 . 55000
miles

Blow it out on the freeway for a few miles and see if it helps. If not you may have a gas leak or leaking fuel injectors. Change the oil and see if the ticking goes away.
