Is tire OD critical?

I have a new 2018 G80 Htrac 5.0 Ultimate. It has rims front 8.5X19 and tire OD
of 26.7 inches. Rear rims are 9.0X19 and tire OD of 26.6. Came from factory
that way! Would it cause a problem for the running gear if I put a 26.9 OD tire
on the rear? How important is matched OD front and rear on all wheel drive
cars?

0.1" should not be an issue. Read the specs to see how close the tires need to be. Some AWD systems cannot tolerate much difference.
