I put 87 gas in my 2003 BMWx5 and it wont stay running. what do i do ?

You may need to drain the tank. If you have room in the tank put some premium in it and maybe a can of octane booster.

Yes, put a bottle of octane booster in the gas tank. I used to use STP octane booster in my '70 Pontiac Catalina. Without it the engine would diesel (run on) when I shut it off, even with premium in the tank. Hope that helps! Jim
