Optimal Tire/Rim Size
concerning performance--
What would be the best size rim to get?
Is weight more important? i currently have 16" Rims on my BMW 330i and im wondering if a tire swap would be worth the performance

Completely dependent on your suspension setup as far as tire size and wheel size go. Generally if you have a decent chamber truss and sway bar you can go up 2 inches or so, but on stock setup you'll be fairly close to where you should be in terms of body roll for the stock tire size... It's always good to reduce the rotational mass so lightweight wheels are the way to go if you change. More important that you wheels and sizes is the quality of the tire you put on. The best size combo with okay rubber will never be as good as an okay size combo with great tires...
very true^^ focus on getting the lightest wheels with the best tires you can get. i suggest looking at rays or gram lights or maybe bbs. and for tires its really anyones preference and it depends on what you are using this set up for. I love the BFGoodrich G force tires they grip like crazy on wet and dry and they last a fairly long time considering what they are meant for.
