Not sure what they are running now but a change to K & N air filter in the stock airbox, or if you are lucky a cone filter cold air intake. Anything to help that motor beath you will notice.
that i know. i was talking more along the lines of superchargers, turbos, any major performance. wich none is under 100 >.>
check ebay, etc for the 3201 head and manifolds. price really comes down to luck. the 2lt head is a high flow head as compaired to the head on the eta engine giving better performance from the 2.5lt block
Here's a sexy modification to the BMW 5 series. I installed the orion V2 on my beemer 530i. I wouldn't say it cost me cheap, but it's worth checking out. For any more info on BMW modifications and what you exactly want to do, visit http://5seriessupermods.blogspot.com/ and leave a comment there. I might be able to give you some good tips and also quote you the price for the modification once I figure out what exactly you are looking to do with your beermer 2 series.
you purchased a bmw but youre unwilling to shell out the cash needed to do proper mods. no you can not get any sort of decent mods for under $100. maybe a t-stat but that would requiring reprogramming of the fans so thats out. then theres the possability of finding a used CAI. but thats it. just save and do it right the first time.
a k&n air filter and nitrogen filled tires is all you can get for under $100
Oh and a slim chance of finding a throttle body spacer for under $100. Depends, though. The TB spacer for my mustang gt was $40, the one for my lincoln mkx is $99 but Ive seen them go as high as $150
