Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took the car to a mechanic for an inspection.  Found needed to repair oil pan leak and
transmission gasket leak.  Front Arm bushings will need to be replaced in the future, not
immediate. brakes have good life and tires are ok, may need to be replaced for age still
has good tread depth.  Does it sound like im getting a good vehicle or not?  Car rides
smooth, top works great.  When he ran a diagnostic(not a bmw machine) had old codes
nothing major but showed some old codes stored.  I called the prior BMW dealership
where the car was serviced and asked what was done, no major repairs just regular
maintenance, replaced some belts and pulleys.  Thoughts on vehicle? whats typical cost
for those repairs

Being a prior BMW owner my advice to you if your serious about purchasing this vehicle is to make sure you purchase some type of extended warranty with it because typically with these products they are extermely expensive to repair and that could be the difference between a great car experience and a terrible one! Take care of the minor repairs before they blossom into something else!
