k20a2. aka dc5 type r motor. 220
Type R = 217 BHP Standard = 155 BHP Type S = 201 BHP
jdm teg dc5 has 220bhp @ the flywheel and lsd awesome car m8
just so nobody is confuse, the K20A2 is the RSX Type-S motor from 2002-2004, not the Integra Type-R motor. That engine is called a K20A
K20Z1 IN THE 05-06 RSX TYPE S IS 210 AND WAY CHEAPER THAN A TYPE R
please note that after 2005, the SAE changed how they rated horsepower as such, the 2005 and 2006 DC5's make the same amount of horsepower, but they were reported under different criteria. So there is no difference between a 2005 and 2006 DC5 in terms of performance. DC5 Base K20A3: 160 bhp, then 155 bhp under the 2006 SAE ratings DC5 Type-S K20A2 (2002-2004): 200bhp for all years DC5 Type-S K20Z1 (2005-2006): 210bhp (2005 SAE rating), 201 bhp (2006 SAE ratings) DC5 Type-R K20A (All years): 220 bhp (SAE 2005 criteria) too bad we never got them in the US
the type s could n e 210bhp but it doesn't run as fast as the type r and road handling of the type r is much way more efficient
