can't open bonnet on vw sharan

can anybody help i can't open the bonnet on my vw sharan i have pulled the cable but nothing is happening.

sounds like the cable has snapped at the catch end, if your gion to D.I.Y you will need a new cable and only way to get bonnet open is by un-bolting the catch either by goin from underneath the car or by removing the front grille. Hope this helps
