Can the daytime lights and headlights be turned on at the same time?

Ok I don't know much about the Prius, so I did a little research. The daytime running lights ARE the headlights, on a slightly different brightness. There is not a separate bulb or system. The system prevents the regular headlights, including tail lights from functioning in daylight, presumably to save every iota of energy. Cover the sensor to make it think it is darkness and that should allow all lights to work. Why you feel the need for this is none of my business, but I am curious
Daytime headlights are NOT the same bulb. The daytime lights are located where FOG lights would have been on the 2015 toyota prius. The fog lights are moved towards the center in the lower grill. But you are right on one thing - you don't know much about the prius.
100% Work because of low and High voltage built in and FAR brighter : http://www.opt- 7.com/fluxbeam-led-headlights/#
2015 Prius V sharing DRL and highbeam bulbs. Those fluxbeams fix the sad orange look and are far less energy with over twice the light .... WIN / WIN folks.
