Water light flashing

Hello driving last night and water light on dashboard flashing, know it could just be water
top up but could it be something else ?  1994 Caravelle

I have the sameproblem on my 93 eurovan camper. Thats a few yearsdifference, I know. Check thelong plug on the circuit board behind the armatures for faulty soldering joints. T4 wicki is a good source if you can read german.
