All warning lights came on and couldn't restart the car

Asked by GuruG5LBH Aug 16, 2020 at 12:56 AM about the Kia Sorento

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My battery light came on first and then a few minutes later all the cluster lights
came on.  I pulled over and noticed the A/C light dimming.  Turned of the car
and it wouldn't restart.  just clicked like a bad battery or alternator.  put in a new
battery and was fine until I went to drive a second time and the battery light
came on again.

You can do a simple test. 1. Start up vehicle, 2. While engine is running, Go disconnect the red battery terminal, 3. If engine shuts off after you pull the red terminal, then the Alternator is bad and its not charging you battery. Thats my experience with those situations.
