Overheating 2003 Chrysler 300m 3.5 L

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Over heats , changed thermostat two times, water
pump twice, all fan relays changed, fans kicking on
at right temps, changed fan temperature  Sensor,
new water hoses , new radiator cap, also had
system flushed! No water in oil or smoke coming
out of exhaust!   Has me totally baffled!!

Replaced temp sensor! Purged the system too!! Thank you for your response! Very confused!

Does the engine show physical signs of over temp, such as coolant leaking out of the radiator, or signs of any exterior coolant leak? Or perhaps the smell of coolant? If not, are you assuming over temp with a gauge or over temp warning light? If so, the gauge may not be accurate, or a faulty sending unit to the indicator light and/or the gauge. Temperature sending units are gauge specific and indicator light specific. They are not interchangeable. One quick way to measure the coolant temperature is with the use of a temperature gun. Once the engine is at operating temperature, simply aim the gun at the radiator, the thermostat housing, the water pump... and squeeze the trigger. A visable laser light will come in contact where aimed, and bounce back to the gun, providing extreemely accurate temperature. A temperature gun can be bought at all automotive parts stores, Amazon, Harbor Freight.... You can even use it to get a reading of your significant other's body parts. lol Be careful not to aim it towards the face or eyes.
