Looking at buying a 2007 Ford Fairmont Ghia BF MKII

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm looking at buying a 2007 Ford Fairmont Ghia BF MkII Auto. I have been
looking around and majority of the ones for sale have between 200k and 230k
kms on them, all 2007 models. The price range is pretty much spot on $7k. For
this price and car, is 200k kms too many? They have logbooks with servicing
information that I'd obviously check out, but what do you guys think? Have
you heard anything about how this type of car is when it hits the 200k range?
Any other major problems known with this model? Any information will help
heaps, thanks.

124,000 US miles not bad we all know the less km / miles the better, I'd say BUY it! I worked for Ford in (Dearborn, Michigan) doing prototype for years. 7K isn't much and you get a decent size sedan handles good with proper features. NOW people in the U.S. don't even buy cars ! Now its all SUVs Ahh to bad. I'd buy a Force 6 or Force 8 model... arguably a great Value for the $ less than 10k in the States... Cheers!
