what is the problem when white smoke comes from exhaust

You would have a blown head gasket. You should be able to smell a anti-freeze smell out the exhaust.

Rowefast is right, but if the smoke has a blue tint that's oil, but same bottom line. Maybe piston ring(s).... serious either way

Check the coolant level, if engine coolant (antifreeze) is disappearing and you have white smoke, there is a chance that the head gasket is bad or the cylinder head is cracked. Rowefast is correct...
