If the engine cranks and not starts. Check for spark at the spark plugs. If there is no spark, check the starter relay, as ther should be a short circuit in the starter relay. Check for fuel pressure. Is the fuel pump operating ? On the left side A pillar under the dash, on the plastic pannel there is a hole, Inside ther hole there is a button, which is the trip button for the impact switch. This button could have tripped, which switched off the fuel pump on impact.

My ford bantam 1.3 rocam swings no spark but when pushed starts changed crank sensor coil pack battery. Checked ignition switch fed solenoid direct.coil direct.swungs 10 sometime 29times before starting
I had a few of these. The starter solenoid wire is running in the same channel as the crank angle sensor. When the starter solenoid is energized this induces a higher voltage into the crank angle sensor wiring. Move this solenoid wire out of the crank angle sensor wiring channel. Check the condition of the main starter cable from the battery to the starter. Clean the terminals and the amperage draw on this cable. Check the earth cable from the battery negative to the body and fit an extra earth cable from the battery Neg terminal to the gearbox.
