Normally the Top gear ratios for the 1600 are slightly higher that the 1300. With the 1300 you will be down on power in top gear.

So does that mean that i would not have enough power in 5th gear? Or just slightly less power when driving high speed?. Because with the 1300 gearbox at 100km/h the revolutions is very high?. Will the revs be lower at the same speed?

Thats correct, you will be down on power in 5th gear. If you want to improve your fuel consumption, rather look at the tuning of the engine and set it up correctly. Something I have done to many of these 1300 B3 engines is: Use BP5ES Spark plugs and a 1.00mm Gap. Set the ignition timing to 12 Degrees Before TDC at idle. These carbs always run too rich. The 1st Choke main jet, replace the 91 main jet with a Weber 85 Main jet (They fit) the second choke main jet is a 156, replace it with a 140 Weber Main jet. . Set the idle CO to about 1.0 % CO. With this setting , the fuel consumption will really improve and you should get slightly more power.
