Black smoke from the exhaust

My Ford Bantam rocam is releasing black smoke
when idling, then from there it will cut a bit when
driving or accelerating, but after a kilo then it
becomes fine

Check the Fuel Pressure regulater. Check the fuel pressure at idle. It could be too high. Check for damaged fuel return line.
