ford bantam rocam motor cuts out when steering is in full lock

The engine idles at 950 rpm but as soon as the air cooler is on and the steering is in full lock the engine cuts out? have checked the steering pump and alternator. where else can I look?
its a 1300

Check if there is an idle up switch for the power steering. Check if there is an open circuit on that wire. These is an idle up switch for the air con as well. Check this wire as well.
