Very general question - typically speaking, with front disk brakes it is possible that one of the caliper pistons is stuck or wedged and frozen in place. Inspect the piston boot for damage and or contamination. If you end up needing replacing one caliper, it is general practice to replace them both - and the brake pads. Don't skimp on brakes.
