If you go to a dealer with the VIN number, they will be able to tell you the year model and possibly the month it was built .

Did you mean the submodel? You can look on the title, registration or history report.....
The VIN (Vehicle Identifiction Number) is registered on the Motor Manufactures Data base. and everything is recorded, to how many Air Bags your vehicle had at the time of assembly ( the air bags are marked with X in the middle of the VIN number) It will also indentify which assebly plant the vehicle comes out of.
