Ford bantam 1600 rocam, just died,,, doesnt crank, there is no spark and feulpump not working.

Hello
I am at my tiping point with this car please if somone can tell me what to do.... I am about to
light a match. Anyway it was raining not even hard, then the car started misfireing, baught a new
coil but still the same,, then while I was driveing the car just died. Now the starter doesnt crank
with the key but if I short it out with a skrewdriver on the starter then it cranks???? There is no
spark on the sparkplugs and the feulpump isnt working... Pls tell me what happend and how to
fix it . THANK YOU GUYS .

Check the power hold relay and fuses. This could be the Computer Box or the Key Reader as well. Check the starter relay as well. It could have a short circuit. If its satred raining, check the large rubber blug on the wiring harness on the left hand side between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment, Water has possibly got into the computer box as its located on the left side A pillar under the dash.
