Looking for used Chrysler Sebring convertible.From 2000 thru 2007, which year is best?

There was no 07 Convertible; the 06 was carried over until the 08 Vert hit showroom floors. I'd suggest an 05-06 because the automatic transmission was updated from the 41TE to the 40TE. The V6 did have problems with oil sludge due to crankcase ventilation problems and oiling passage design shortcomings, but this was rectified in 04, along with the timing chain tensioner failing prematurely. If you can afford it, go for one of the Limited trim level verts. They were the most fully loaded ones. The next step down is Touring.
