leaking water behind the motor

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 2001 dodge durango and it is leaking water and antifreeze from behind the motor. It is overheating but has not went into the red zone. My friend said it may be a freeze plug and another friend said head gasket or cracked block. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I think i would check the heater hose,s going to your block to the heater core, first, then check freeze plug,s and then intake and or head gasket, may get lucky and just be the heater hose.
I lean to freeze plug, but look at you motor oil and coolant. If there is a white emulsion on either radiator cap or oil filler cap...or if the oil is a light-chocolate brown color and over full then back to headgasket. Cracked block or head is possible but least likely
Well we were posting at same time, but you have a really good idea there TST. May not be so serious
Saying head gasket just from a leak is jumping to conclusions
