1) under the steering column (refer to hayes guide for specs on your car for location of anti-theft device on your car) lower it to access level. Unplug it to access the usb plug and port, use a fine needle to remove any fine fibers that may be interfering with continuity, gently clean the interior USB Port with a q-tip barely dipped in 409 or awesome shape it into a fine tip. Swirl it slowly so as not to bend the usb needles. Repeat until q- tip seems to be clean when removed. Do this with port also. Allow to dry well. Remember to disconnect negative cable prior to cleaning the anti-theft port. Do not plug in when it is damp. Plug it back into the receiving port connected to the wiring harness. Return anti-theft wiring plug back into the position where the book indicates. Turn the ignition key two clicks to forward position leaving thenegative battery cable disconnected. It represents the ground. Turn on the headlights. Let the car sit for maybe two hours. The vehicle will be searching for an alternate power source for the headlights. It will hone in on the atomic battery, which keeps your date, time and sensors in sync when you turn off the car. It will drain the atomic battery. Turn the ignition off, Reconnect the negative battery cable. Go to the passenger door and insert the key in the cylinder lock assembly. Turn your door lock all the way to the left then all the way to the right. Thien start the car normally. This should solve the problem. You will have cleaned the anti theft terminals, re-set the computer and disarmed the alarm. If it doesn't work, then go to the dealership. Save a lot of money. This is what they will do anyways.
