each sparkplug it's own coil...would test this one for cyl 6~

hmmmm, the one closest to the firewall...the wire that powers that coil may be compromised~

read and clear the trouble code with your very own OBD-II code reader for fifteen bucks~ achem....RESET THE CODES~

okay, now I'm not absolutely certain there isn't a central coil pack(s) you may have that...you may have 1 ignition coil per~

one thing is for sure #6 is at the corner~

We have the exact same car, same miles, same issue. I've been looking for a recall for this but have not seen one. We had all the spark plugs changed but not the coils, and that did not work, light came right back on. Checked engine light code and error said it was a random misfire. Seems like this is a Chrysler issue.
I am having the same problem with about 44,000 miles. Any idea of cost to repair? My car is idling rough when I am stopped. I went to autozone and that's exactly what computer said. Misfire at cylinder 6.
I am having the same issue but misfire for Cylinder 4, has everyone changed their spark plugs and still having the issue?
It's still under warranty for the misfire. Take it to get it checked! I have a misfire on injector #4 after having the plugs changed.
check the plug wires for tiny burns and abraasions and i mean tiny , there could be juice to the plugs leaking before it gets there i fixed misfire on cyl 4 that way , but mine is a 2008 with a 3.8 litre, your 2012 is a 3.6 i think , a different newer block than the 3,8

Take it to the dealership and let them diagnose! There is a know issue with the pentastar 3.6 v6, COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. They replaced the one head on mine. 2-3 days repair but I got a courtesy rental. Don't waste your money on other stuff!
Agree take it to the dealership and let them diagnose! There is a know issue with the pentastar 3.6 v6, COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. They replaced the one head on mine. 2-3 days repair # 4 Misfire, 31,000 miles
I also have a 2012 town and country and a misfire on cylinder #4. I took it to dealership, they diagnosed it and replaced the entire head under warranty. Took them almost 2 days to replace. They gave me a rental for those days. Didn't pay a penny.

Had an issue with 2012 Chrysler town and country. The van was idling rough and running rough, kept getting worse. Problem is it a lot of times doesn't kick a code out, but finally did for misfire in cylinder 6. Read on this post about all of everyone's issues start at about 40k miles, mine had 41k on it. Took it to dealership today, they are going to replace the engine head under warranty. If your having a rough idle, take it in dont hesitate, if you open the engine compartment you can watch the engine shake from running rough.
My 2012 town and country is reading "multiple misfires" but prior to this is seemed to have a little shake but no codes. 60,000+ miles and not sure if under warranty anymore.. I could ohm out the cool packs but not sure if worth it or not.
Had exactly same issue in my 2014 town n country minivan at about 45000 miles ran rough, no power etc...dealership replaced the sparkplugs and ran better but not as good as before. Flash forward 20000 miles and now at 68k miles van is sluggish and temp gage started getting hot to 248 and water light comes on and there is a hesitation before cooling kicks in. Also a/c fan stops while hot. Took it to dealership they checked hoses, thermostat and belts and water pump and made me take it home saying "no issues". Drove for 2 more days then kept getting hot so took it back...told them to find problem this time. They tore it down and found blown head gasket and possible crack in the engine block. I am an extended warranty customer and now waiting for directive from Chrysler. This is a real serious issue.
I had a Cyl head replace (warranty) and later camshaft and lifters(warranty). Still runs rough and ck engine light comes on and off. Hasn't been a lot of fun. Dealer doesn't have a cue.(2012 town and country) herb 5124158765
check ur plug wires closely. they cannot touch each other or ANY metal
HI all I have a 2012 had the head replaced at 25,000 under warranty, Its been running great, but now at 113,000 I have hesitation at low rpm when accelerating but goes away when I stomp on it, thinking it could be injectors or fuel filter? Thank for all your previous post that helps too...
Have a 2010 T & C with 120,000 kms on it. Engine is V6. Code shows misfire on #4. Changed coil on #4 and all spark plugs. Two days later code and misfire returned. Could it be carbon build up causing valve(s) to stick?
There was a recall for 2012 and 2013s T&Cs for the cylinder misfires on the left side (even side). My 2014 is having the same issue and no recall yet. I am towing it to the dealership, as that's the only way to get Chrysler to acknowledge it's the same 2012 and 2013 issue with 2014s. The EXACT same issue is happening as in '12 and '13. They extended the warranty to 150,000 for the recalled '12-'13. If anyone is having an issue with the '14, let them know.
What is this warranty? I have t&c 2012 problems with cylinder 2 engine light on. Do all t&c have warranties how does that work?
2010 T and C with 4 liter V6 engine. Misfire on #4 in February. Found 2 burned valves on #4. Mileage was 124,000 kms. Now misfire on #2, 12,000 kms since head was checked and rebuilt. Compression 80 psi on #2 and #4, 200 on #6. Removed heads and found burned valves on #2 and #4, with worn valve guides. Chrysler claim no problems on 4 liter V6 engines. This has cost me over $6,000 to date. How do we get Chrysler's attention?
I had P0306 - cylinder 6 misfire - brought to dealership, They determined that it was an ignition coil failure and replaced, my cost included 2 hours of diagnosis = $454. Left there, wasn't driving smoothly and within a few day check engine light back on. Brought it back, another 2 hours of diagnosis charges ($300) and now the problem is with rocker arms, got another opinion who said rocker arms are fine and the issue is with damaged PCV valve. That repair at $718, left there and the check engine light came back on and van is driving rough. Current scan from auto parts store is coming up with P219B, previously also had P0302 code but that is currently cleared. Right before these codes had the transmission and torque convertor rebuilt. This is all under 100,000 miles, and right when emissions is due.
