Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1982 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit just stopped starting. I drove it home and an hour later when I turn the key it doesn't even make a click sound. I had the battery checked and it's fully charged, what could be wrong? Could it be the relay switch or the starter? I just purchased this car 5 days ago.

If there's no click at the solenoid it means it's either not getting an actuation signal or no power. Trace power from the battery to the starter solenoid, and from the ignition switch to that same solenoid. There might be a wiring break or maybe just a loose connector at play here.
