i have a 2.0l 4g63 with the same thing and would also bog down on rev. i was looking aroung in the engine bay checkin the hoses and making sure all the clamps were on tight. i discovered that the cold air intake wasnt on all the way. fixed that took care of the bogging down. i then discovered my header had a crack in it and after i got a new header the idle smoothed right out.
